The PractiScore 2 app is a complete rewrite of PractiScore match management and scoring apps to a common platform to run on Android and iOS (as well as on other platforms in the future). It is built to maintain backward compatibility with 1.x apps and to allow us to adapt to the competition sport’s needs quicker.
The 2.x apps are backward compatible with all match types supported in the PractiScore 1.x for Android. Some of the iOS-only match types are not supported (or alternatives are being worked on).
-
For Android devices you can install the PractiScore 2 app from Google Play or from Amazon app store.
-
For iOS devices you can install PractiScore 2 from the Apple app store.
Please make sure to update your tablets to the latest app version.
When using 2.x apps at matches take some precautions. When possible, enable the online score logging (requires for scoring tablets to have internet access). If that is not possible, enable the local score log (and verify you can access it), make backups as often as you can (e.g. use export and email to yourself or save to a shared cloud storage), especially before syncing data between devices.
The 2.x apps can scan and find devices running PractiScore 1.x apps and can pull match data from them.
We don’t recommend pulling data from 2.x apps to 1.x. But you can do that on your own risk using a manually entering sync code in 1.x app, e.g take sync code shown in 2.x and append “E8E7” at the end.
If you find any issues with the PractiScore 2 app, please email us at support@practiScore.com and provide details if you are using iOS or Android, device model and include the match export file along with necessary info needed to reproduce issues.
Also don’t hesitate to post questions, ideas and discuss PractiScore 2 apps in this category. If you can’t find or missing some functionality, please let us know.
