It is unlikely you could recover these scores, unless you’ve been doing any of the following things when setting up devices and your match and/or during scoring.
enabled the “local score log” on these tablets
the online score log was enabled for that match (in the match settings)
sync to other devices been done between stages or squads
the Backup option (on the main app screen) been manually triggered between stages/squads

As an additional precaution to keep scores on device secure the PractiScore app for Android allows to enable local score log. You can also select an external location to save log to, such as SD card in case your device has an SD card slot.
This setting is local for device and need to be enabled from the match editing screen on each device individually:

Google introduced new file permissions starting from Android 10 and requires all apps published in the Google Play to support those. You may need to tweak your configuration when updating your tablets to Android 10 or 11 or after installing the PractiScore app on those devices for the first time. @Warren_Harper in a few last years Android significantly restricted how apps can access files on device. What you see is a system file chooser dialog, which apps have little control on.
