As of June 2024 we don’t recommend purchasing Apple devices that can not run iOS/iPadOS 17. For supported Apple devices see iPad models compatible with iPadOS 18 - Apple Support (CA)
When buying new Android devices:
- Android devices running Android below 9 are NOT recommended
- For Amazon tablets. Prefer latest generation devices running FireOS 8 (e.g. 2022 or newer). They are often on sale. Fire 10, Fire 8, Fire 7.
These are current bare supported minimums for the PractiScore 2 apps. We may have to bump them up in the near future
- Android 5 (until the end of 2025), Android 7 after
- iOS 14 (until the end of 2025), iOS 15 after
Android tablets used with PractiScore 2 app during Sep 2024 - Aug 2025.
