Setting up PractiScore for private training matches

I’ve been using Pscore for my Rimfire Challenge matches and would like to start using it for my department’s quarterly firearms training. Do I create a “club” for my department and then add quarterly “matches” set to private? I will assign personnel to the “match” and input their info. I didn’t see this in any of the topics.

Sure, that will work.
Yo can also let them register online just like a regular match.

Trust me, it will only get done if I register them myself!

Daren have you set this up for your department and how is it working for you? I was considering the same for my department.

@Daren_Roeser1, I was wondering the same thing

I am giving it a try this quarter. I think it will work well, just as in a match. I’m still trying to get my penalty time to show properly.
Stay tuned.

The setup is pretty straightforward, just like any club match. The bug I cannot figure out is that I created 2 drills that have different scoring systems. Every time I fix the scoring on one, it automatically applies it to the other…haven’t figured out how to get around that.

@Daren_Roeser1
What you’re running into is not a bug in the system. Matches can be scored as one match type only not multiples. So you have to choose what type of scoring you want to use and use it for all stages in a match.

I figured that was the case and it makes perfect sense for matches. I guess I’m not going to make it work as our quarterly drills won’t necessarily have the same scoring system. One is time + and the other is 100% round accountability so it’s either GO or NO GO.

You can still score as separate matches/events and then aggregate results of two matches in a 3rd “series” match.
