New "TRS Italy" discipline

Good morning I wanted to know if it was possible to insert a new discipline practiced in Italy called “TRS Italy”
This discipline uses IPSC cards but with the IDPA score by adding the penalties of the seconds at the end of the exercise.

A = 0sec
C = 1sec.
D = 3sec.
Miss = 5sec.
Proc. = 5sec.
NShoot = 5sec.

The categories are:

Semiauto
Monofilare (series 1911)
revolver
minirifle .22
Pistol .22
Optics
Pcc

What we need would be the total time of the exercise and then the sum of the penalties
I hope you can give me some feedback, it would be very kind of you
thks
Mauro

@Mauro_Cecchini your best option is to use the Points Down match template.

You can set the Point Down value to 1 second and customize penalties and divisions as per your description above.

It won’t have IPSC-like scoring zone options, so you’d have to enter PD points for corresponding target zones (C - 1, D - 3, M - 5).

thanks for the quick response to my request, I will do some tests with simulations, thank you.
The goal in our discipline is to be precise but at the same time fast, the penalties are simply time added to the time of the exercise (A=0sec. C=+1sec. D=+3sec. etc…)
Thank you for the information

How can I have in the general classification a report of the type of penalties (A numbers, Charly number, Delta, Miss, etc.) and not have the sum of the penalties?
I am using the Points Down match template.
I would need that the shooters could see the penalties in the classification report in a more detailed way
thanks

@Mauro_Cecchini the “Points Down” scoring (as used by IDPA) does not track individual target zones. The “Points Down” penalties are entered per-target, so only total value of them is available.

If you need per-zone totals, you could try to use a Timeplus match type and define your own time-penalties for each zone. Though then you won’t be able to track/enter them per-target.

Thanks for the prompt reply, I did some tests as you advised me but I still can’t get the race results divided by penalty, I’m a bit demoralized because I was hoping to introduce the use of tablets in this discipline that is practiced in Italy for now, I’m also attaching the images of the masks that I find myself with

Apparently I was wrong about the TimePlus reports… We may need to add an option in the app to show the detailed one. It would go to the PractiScore 2 app

Though if you post that match to the PractiScore website, it would show you the individual penalties.

For example see https://practiscore.com/results/new/269408

My need does not reach the point of asking for publication on the practiscore site but simply that they are present in the ranking report so as to pass the PDF to the ranking office which then takes care of manually inserting them into the “Unione Italiana Tiro a Segno” site.
A thing that is certainly appreciated to speed up the upload is also having the export of the final ranking in CSV :slight_smile: because in the future it could make the uploading of the ranking to the Italian site faster.

@Mauro_Cecchini it may take some time to get local reports updated and PDF printing of large reports is always going to be problematic.

However if you use IDPA match template as is (you can still edit penalties as in a timeplus match), the results posted to the PractiScore website have an export option. It will give a CSV with the full penalties breakdown.

Thanks for the reply, I understand that this is not something that can be solved immediately.
In the next few days I will do some tests simulating the insertion and the results in the IDPA template.
I want to add that these tests that I am doing I perform them on both the V.1 (practiscore) and V.2 app (practiscore2) before writing and asking for your support. I will update you in the next few days, thanks as always for your precious support.

I immediately wanted to check using the IDPA layout but I saw that the ranking is still created by a standard module given the result. I attach here the images of the penalties in the shooter but the sum in the ranking.

@Mauro_Cecchini you already looked at that. What I was referring to in my last response is the results on the PractiScore website, including the Download button there for a CSV version.

E.g. see https://practiscore.com/results/new/269492

this option could help me, exporting to CSV with these options could be very useful.
In the end I need the CSV file to deliver it to the ranking office and if it is imported into Excel it is even easier.
This evening I will do some tests to see if I can export the ranking to CSV directly from the tablet without going through the site, both with version 1 and version 2
