I see ‘comped’ in several places on the website. No idea what it means.

Some of us match directors use that as a way to separate out paid shooters vs. comped or free shooters. In my matches, I primarily use it for free shooters (sponsors) or for setup/teardown crew.
So how do u comp a shooter ( sponsor).
