With Practiscore 1, we have been able to setup our Time Plus Matches since we started with Practiscore several years ago. When a shooter gets a Plus 1 (C Zone) or Plus 2 (D Zone) on a target, we simply add those up and were able to press Plus 1 enough times to reach that total for the stage. Same with no shoots/hostages or procedurals or misses, so that shooters could later see exactly what they did wrong on a given stage.
We got a new Fire tablet for using Practiscore 2 as the old Master iPad is so old it won’t even download or install the new app, but our other tablets (Amazon Fire) load it just fine.
However, after creating our match as usual, creating Penalties and Bonuses in P v2 and then finally loading the shooters into the match, we went into Scoring to make sure all was well and while we can see the different penalties or bonuses, all we can do is select it ONCE, we don’t get the option of the Plus/Minus as we did with the previous version.
With Time Plus for Practiscore V2 there’s no way we can find to create single penalties for every single possible option to happen on one of our stages, it could be 1 or it could be 32. Yes, it could…we have 32-40 rounds fired per stage and 4 stages. There could be multiple procedural errors or multiple no shoots hit or multiple misses. When the only option is to choose a penalty or not choose a penalty, it’s impossible to use it for our match.
Is there something different we should choose such as a match type or some secret squirrel button we haven’t found to allow a shooter to get multiple of the same penalty? We’ve been running this match for over 10 years with these rules and scoring and went to Practiscore a few years ago and it worked just fine…until we tried V2 this weekend and I can’t find any tutorial about what ONE or WARN is or anything else to understand some of the changes.
Does anyone have any suggestions please???
Thank you!!!
