I am experiencing a serious issue with payments processed via the PractiScore + Stripe integration.
Competitors are unable to complete payments, as card transactions are being declined due to 3D Secure / authentication_required errors.
Based on the error behavior, it appears that the Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) flow is not being handled correctly — customers are not redirected to the 3D Secure authentication step, and the payment is not retried after authentication.
I do not have the ability to modify Stripe settings on my end, as all payments are processed entirely through the PractiScore integration.
This is a critical issue that is actively blocking competitor payments and directly impacting event registrations.
Please urgently review:
- your Stripe configuration,
- handling of the authentication_required status,
- correct redirection to the 3D Secure challenge flow and automatic payment retry afterward.
Please let me know if this issue is already known and when a fix can be expected.
