For matches set up with Steel Challenge Default, each time the MD updates the match registration (imports new shooters) it reloads (adds) another set of 8 Stages. What are we doing wrong?

Every time your MD uses the PIN to pull registration he’s duplicating everything.
He should not pull registration into the tablet until registration is closed and he is ready to begin scoring.
As a Md for SCSA level 2’s, I understand why he’s downloading the entries multiple times. My suggestion would be to use a separate tablet, not your master, and then sync when the time is right.
