Shooter waitlisted, but not from MD's perspective

Another shooter burned by this this month. Fortunately, he’s a very regular guy and inquired about getting off the waitlist so he didn’t think we just gave him the brush. Will this ever get fixed?

I’ve considered going to 100% waitlist and just approve shooters as they register. This month I think we had ~15 people get waitlist emails (but they appeared approved to me), which becomes a bit hard to track, plus manually send emails to, and then squad…and sometimes re-squad because they don’t like the one I chose. 100% waitlist might be slightly more work when registration opens, but at least the registration list would be correct and I wouldn’t have to send emails manually or squad a lot of people.

Also, with the mass registration right when registration opens, I end up with multiple registration numbers being duplicated…so if everyone up to #75 on the list is approved and squadded…there might actually be 79 shooters approved and squadded.

Duplicate registrations can happen.
The server handles 1 registration per second. So if two registrations come in on the same second that is a good chance to get duplicates. Not always but sometimes.
The webmaster suggests initially reducing the match size by a few and if you have no dups then you can up the match size when the rush is over and manually approve the last few shooters off the wait list.

This month we have 8 shooters who are stuck in this Practiscore limbo.

You have an email.

Four shooters in purgatory this month. I just send everyone to this thread when I email them and ask them what squad they’d like to be in, since they can’t self-squad.
