This selection in the match setup is not remaining checked when I clone a match (less of an issue), but is also unchecking itself while reg is open. I try to check it regularly, but inevitably people start getting registered/squadded without paying.

This is one of the issues of cloning matches outside of our suggested match creation window.
If you’re using a newly created match do you have this problem?

That’s a good question. I’ve cloned the same match every time. Here’s the one I’m dealing with now. I can make a new one for next month to test this, but I do think cloning is a valuable tool (for the volunteer MD;). If there’s something I can adjust to avoid this in future clones, that would be very helpful. On this note, I’ve heard from other MD’s that they’ve experienced this as well.

There really isn’t anything that can adjust in the clone matches. Please read and follow the directions on this tutorial. It may just totally fix your problem.
