Removed from squad

I signed up for an IDPA match a few days ago and upon checking recently I see that I have been removed. Emailed host and they said

“the squad I signed up for has been filled and there’s only one spot left in another squad, other than that the squad is filled”

I don’t find that believable as I’ve used practicescore before and I made sure not to overlook the squading process and click save or confirm on the bottom right part of the webpage.

Before I got the email reply I saw one more spot open and signed up. Got a green prompt I’ve been put in a squad. Then when checking again a few hours later I dont see my name anymore. It says one spot open and when I try to sign up again it just says it’s full. Refresh the page and it says 1 spot open.

Is this a thing? I find it unfair as I’ve been signed up for several days and made accommodations to drive an hour plus away so I’d be able to compete. Then when inquiring I’m just told, 1 more spot otherwise it’s full. Honestly I wouldn’t have even known of this issue were it not for a friend tried signing up after me telling me they didn’t see my name anywhere.

Sorry to hear this is happening.
It’s possible the match director or any of the admins in the club could be adjusting squadding and you’re getting bumped out.
We at Practiscore don’t run the matches, of course we provide the scoring system and the website for clubs to manage their own matches.
All I can suggest is you contact the Match director and talk to him again of what’s going on and then ask him to manually put you in the squad. I imagine they have you in their list somewhere and they can manipulate things as they see fit.
If you don’t get satisfaction from the MD you could see if the club has a president or something like that and discuss the situation with them.
