Person tag isnt saving upon timer sync of next run

Experienced this situation over the weekend.

Doing Multiple runs using Practiscore Log 2.0.2+120
Syncing with a Kestrel KST1000.

Using Drill and Person Tags.
Drill Tag remains and saves, but the person tag gets eliminated once the next run syncs. I can go back after and re-add the person tag and it saves then, but never on the initial saving.

My Process:
Shoot drill
Sync timer to Practiscore Log
Score Hit Factor Targets
Hit Tags drill and person

@George_Esper the tags you saved on individual runs aren’t being selected automatically.

You need to select the tags you want to be applied to upcoming runs either on the tags screen or using the tags bar on the main app screen. OR can also select tags for the upcoming runs on the video recording screen.

The preselected tag is for drill.

When I select a person tag and hit save after scoring via hit factor. Both the Drill and Person tag is saved.

When the next practice run is synced from the timer too the App… the previously saved Person tag… gets deleted.

Sorry if i didn’t make this clear. After the timer push sync, I can go now too the practice run that will be #2 on the list and retag with the person and hit save and it saves then.

Video trying to show how i am explaining terribly.

@George_Esper I see…

It seems like what’s happening is that on a new string timer sends a “string end” event and the current/last run is updated with the currently selected tags (the tag bar at the top of the screen). This is mainly because KST timer doesn’t stop the string, but instead “pauses” it (i.e. it shows the “mute”) and you can resume it by pressing the “enter” button on the timer…

It is kind of a “chicken and an egg” issue when updating ongoing runs. I’ll see if this could be improved, though I’m not sure how.

In the mean time you can pre-select the “person” tag on the tag bar, so the updates will pick it up automatically.
