My clubs USPSA matches are not showing up on the search

Hi,
It was brought to my attention that our club matches are not showing up in the search when the state (NY) is chosen as a filter. It does show up with that filter off. If people who are looking to shoot with us for the first time click on NY to find a match, we will be overlooked. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Giving us your club name or match names up front would help us look into this, please.
Also the email you are using here does not have a Practiscore account. Using the email that is connected to your account also helps us troubleshoot.

Now The Duchess County Pistol club does not have the correct address for the club location that Google maps uses.
We use Google Geo locator map system. If your address is not Exactly what google uses the system doesn’t function correctly or accurately.
The fix is to go to google maps and search for the club. Choose the club address that google gives you and when the location pops up you should use the Exact (to the capitalization and abbreviations) that google uses for the club and match addresses.

Regards,

Hello…. My club won’t come up in match searches when filtering on Michigan. It does show when filtering on MI. I corrected the club’s and match’s address to match the google address but it didn’t affect the search results. How can I fix it so that when searching matches, I type in Mich in the location field and select the Michigan filter my club’s matches are listed? It’s the Cadillac Sportsman’s Club. Thank you. Where these matches created from scratch and were they created with the proper address? If they weren’t there’s a chance it’s all not going to work properly I went to a location in Michigan near Cadillac and once I scroll through all the matches up till September I found the September match. So they are there you just have to search a little differently.

After correcting the address, I deleted the October match and recreated it using the Google address. It still doesn’t come up on a match search with the Michigan filter. Cadillac doesn’t even show up as a city filter option after clicking the Michigan filter. I’m not saying the matches aren’t there, they’re just harder to find than they should be. When I’m looking for matches, I typically click on Matches, then type Mich in the search field, then click the Michigan state filter. People doing the same won’t find our matches. Why? How to fix?

@Jon_Pavlinac
Not sure why you say this is not working here are two screenshots for my phone where I set my location in Michigan not Virginia where I am right now and chose MI and Cadillac as you can see in my choices. And it found these two matches. :person_shrugging:t2:

Because MI is not Michigan. No one in Michigan will pass over the filter option for Michigan to click MI further down. Why do the results you clipped show ‘Cadillac - MI’ rather than ‘Cadillac - Michigan’. All other clubs in Michigan, except maybe one, says Club Name - Michigan, not Club Name - MI.

Sorry, I’m probably not making myself clear. My request boils down to “How can I make the match search result for our matches identify the location as Cadillac - Michigan rather than Cadillac - MI?"

Figured it out. You may require that we use the Google address in club details (which is MI), but you must spell out Michigan in the registration page address to get the Michigan match search filter to find it.

If you do this there is a good chance moving forward the matches you create may not show up on the google geo-location map.
