Somehow indicating staff on the squadding page would be immensely helpful to match directors. Perhaps highlighting their name or using a different color would be most useful. This allows the match director see how staff are distributed so staffing can be adjusted more easily.
Agree with this suggestion and would like to be able to take it one step further. Have the Safety Officer question in sign up and if they check YES allow them to squad in a Safety Officer spot on a squad. This would allow match directors to identify a specific number of spots on a squad as Safety Officers and prevent a squad from filling completely and leaving no space for Safety Officers. I use a work around where I reserve spots on a squad and then open them when I see the required number of Safety Officers have selected the squad but would be nice to have this happen automatically.
We have the squad RO’s or CRO’s put their last name on the registration page and then in parenthesis after their last name we have them put (CRO) or (RO)
I like that idea as a fix. I’m going to start doing that for our matches.
