Fire 7 Tablet Bluetooth Timer - Beep on Start

Given:
PS App info V1.7.28 (all 3 tablets)
Notifications = On for all apps
I have 3 Tablets for PS scoring; (2) Fire 7, (1) Fire 8
My BT Timer is the RangeTech RT5200

When in a PS scoring mode that requires time (eg SCSA,) the tablet initiates the timer.
The timer beeps upon activation.
The Clock symbol appears in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
A long press on the symbol brings up the timer control dialog.
THIS IS THE POINT WHERE I AM HAVING AN ISSUE
On (1) of my Fire 7’s when I press START the timer does not beep; However; the word ‘BEEP’ does show up in the bottom middle of the screen. The timer does not pick up shots either.

I have looked at all my settings between the tablets but can’t find a difference.

On the other (2) Fire Tablets the timer does beep and does pick up shots.

Please advise what I need to do to get this working.

If it works on some tablets you need to figure out and double check what is different on those tablets.

  • FireOS/Android version
  • Location services enabled in the system settings
  • PractiScore app version
  • PractiScore app permissions in the system settings

Ended up doing a Hard Reset to the problem Fire 7 tablet and reinstalled the RangeTech and PractiScore applications to fix the problem.
