Duplicating Stages in PS2 (for training/practice)

Hi,

Understanding the primary goal of PS is for match use, we also use it for IPSC practice sessions (a “match”) where stage setups may reused, and run in a different way, but we want to keep score during training.

In the Android (but not iOS unfortunately) version of PS1, there was the ability to duplicate stages.

Can we have this back in both the Android and iOS versions of PS2?

Thanks,

Richard

@Richard_Lee mark your match as a “template” in the match settings. Then use “Library” option to add your stages.

Or consider the PractiScore Log app

Yeah it kind of sucks we can’t copy stages anymore. We use it for training. It’s so easy to just copy a stage that we’re doing over and over and just trying to run it multiple ways. It just makes it way faster than individually creating 20 stages instead of copying it 20 times.

@Christopher_Sappenfi you may need to read response right before your comment

And for training you may also want to consider the PractiScore Log app.

Eugene,

Just getting back to this as we’ve purchased a new table for PS2.

I apprecaite you responding (and apologies for not getting back sooner), but this is a backwards step in the functionality of the application and a hit to the overall UX.

I understand this may not be the primary intended use case for the application, and that you are providing a paid (potential) alternative solution, but could we have this duplicate stage functionality added back to PS2?

Not only is this functionality useful, but it also allows us to get all members familier with the PS platform so they are useful in club matches, or should they wish to become a RO in sanctioned IPSC matches.

Happy to have a chat about this one Tuesday at BRCC.

Appreciate your continued contributions to the shooting sports.

Cheers,

Richard
