Looking to add capability to collect match fees for club matches using stripes. Already have stripes setup and need to be able to apply a club member discount. When I try to save membership settings under club setting I get an error of “Whoops, look like something went wrong.” If I reopen the membership page it appears to have saved the info but if I then try to open the manage members tab I get the same error. Club name is NCRR. Am I doing something wrong.
@Jim_VandenAkker
Your membership setup under the club is not where you apply a member discount for match fees. That is done on each match you create. (see screenshot) As far as the members tab, you have no members so you would get a failure upon looking a an empty tab. Based on your given info this is what we see.
I’m curious if you are cloning matches or creating them from scratch? Cloned matches should be no older than 60 days fro the original match creation.
Also if you are using online payments AND you do not require payment upon registration then you are defeating the whole purpose of online payments and giving yourself more work.
Stripe is ANTI-GUN. I would avoid using them at all costs. We are closing our stripe account and unfortunately looking at other alternatives to practiscore since they seem to be OK with an anti-gun processor even though there are many others who are pro 2A.
@Mark_Leeber
I’m sorry you feel that way. Stripe basically will not allow accounts that they feel will sell guns or ammo. That is not what we do. We are promoters putting on events and collecting event fees.
If you choose to use an account (or bank account) named specifically after a range or gun shop then you will have issues. Every club that has had issues has been able to rectify them.
Now, if you directly know of a CC processor that can offer all of the IT integration that Stripe does, along with the rates that Stripe offers, Plus the online admin options for the clubs. They must have all of these things, then please share them directly to support@practiscore.com.
