Can we prevent multiple entries?

I realize that the website is set up for “One Gun/One Entry.” Our club limits the total number of shooters and our policy is that to sign up for the second gun (usually a PCC shooter) you must do so in person.

My biggest problem is that right before importing the match to the the tablet I have to delete duplicate names. It would be nice if we had a setting that would prevent multiple entries under the same email address. Is that possible? If it’s possible, what problems would a setting like this cause?

I am not aware of any setting to prevent duplicate entries. Do you run squads? That makes it much easier for our club to spot the duplicates.

Dealing with Multiple Gun Registrations

An early design decision in the PractiScore website made “one gun, one entry” the model. That being said a competitor may register multiple times, ie. multiple different guns. The competitor is required to proceed through the registration page twice to register two guns. The Match Director monitors the match for folks who are not following the match rules.
