There’s a club near me that hosts “public” USPSA matches but I’ve always been waitlisted even when I sign up right when the registration opens. My assumption is that this club hand picks who they want in their match. So I want to block them from my feed

Sorry this seems to be happening. Unfortunately each club is independent and run their matches as they choose.
If you are talking about blocking available matches from the Matches tab that is not possible. The match search is by geolocation and will show all matches based on your location and by date.
You are not following the club so you should not see any upcoming matches in your dashboard.
