Need help building a Silhouette match in PS

OK, I give up. Have tried to build a Metallic Silhouette match in PractiScore, but can’t figger out how to make changes in various fields

I want 4 stages (chickens, pigs, turkeys, rams) with 10 targets each. Just 10 shots, HIT or MISS. No time.

Because this is a rimfire match, I need to have divisions for shooters, such as RFRO RFRI - just .22LR rifles, no pistols.

But I also need to add either a ‘division’ or a ‘class’ for shooters: We can shoot off the Bench or Standing Offhand.

I have tried everything I can find on PractiScore, from Long Range Rifle to NRA Action, to the Airgun Silhouette templates, and can’t find one that will allow what I need.

Can someone here direct me to something either here or online, that will help me learn how to devise the match I need?

thanks,

@euxx Many thanks to user EUXX for the excellent tutorial “How to create a Silhouette match template” in response to my original query!!

In the meantime, I have been able to follow those instructions, and have a couple variations of templates that will work with our metallic silhouette matches. Thanks EUXX!!

Here’s the second part of my problem: in addition to a standard metallic silhouette match, we also shoot a plate match similar to the original Creedmoor matches.

That is, we have a 4x8’ plates at 100, 200, and 300 yards. Each plate has a bullseye (6", 9", and 12" respectively) and are engaged with .22LR. The plates have 4 scoring areas: the bullseye is worth 5 points, the center 2’x2’ section is worth 3 points, the outside 2’x1’ areas left and right are worth 3 points, and misses score 0.

Can you suggest how to set up scoring for such a match? We generally shoot 15 rounds on each target, so each shot has he potential of 5,4, or 3 points.

thanks in advance for any assistance you can give!

@Doug_Hutter you can slice and dice it in a many ways.

E.g. create a custom “4x8’ Plate” target with scoring zones and corresponding point values as required and name them as you see fit. Then add 15 targets with 1 shot each or use 1 target with 15 hits.
