We transitioned over to PS2.0 today and ran the match as a PCSL HF Factor match. However, the results appear different compared to PS1.0 when searching for scores via Practiscore.com. Why is there a difference?
We are unable to filter the results by division like we used to on PS1.0, and the new results interface is not easy on the eyes…
First of all, the PtactiScore 1.x apps never supported full PCSL scoring and these 1.x apps haven’t been supported for over a year.
The PractiScore 2.x apps are the only apps we can provide support to. If you noticed some issues with scores. Please provide us with some specifics, including link to the match or the match export file *.psc, competitor names, stages, as well as any other details required to reproduce and identify issue. You can also email these details at support@practiscore.com
Those are not new. These classic style results were available in the old apps as well. However PCSL scoring required changes that can not be correctly shown in the “new style” Hit Factor results viewer.
Also, you seem to be using dark mode on your phone and there is another known issue with the web site. As a work around you can turn the dark mode off.
The web team is aware of that and is working on addressing these issues.
Thank you for your quick response! My browser and phone are both set to light mode, but the results screen still appears dark.
The scoring looks correct and displays properly on the Practiscore competitor app. However, I encounter an error when trying to view the division-level results on Practiscore.com; it states, “Unable to retrieve results.”
If I understand correctly, the results are displayed in the classic style because I set the match settings on the tablet to PCSL scoring. If I switch to Hit Factor instead of PCSL scoring, will the results on Practiscore.com display the “new style” Hit Factor results viewer?
I adjusted the page theme color and the results appear much better.
How can I ensure that future results are shown as the ‘new style’ using Practiscore 2? I want to avoid the view of the results I posted in my original post.
Generally you have no control of this. Results presentation is specific to a given match type. However regardless of the presentation - the presented results are correct.
